So I said I was back but I've been so carried away with life that I haven't actually been doing much of anything artistic since then.
Drawing my lovely girlfriend, Tisha, as a pirate for her birthday present was very fun to do.
And so was drawing chara-catures* at the Spring Festival. Of which I have no pictures because I gave them TO the people I drew. Tough stuff
I still need to finish that Sampson & Delilah request 0.o (If you're reading this: sorry Beth!!)
Currently meant to be writing a Mathematics seminar on Projective geometry and perspective but I don't have powerpoint on my netbook or my linux PC (the latter of which has some annoyingly designed equivalent that doesn't do what I need it to) so I'm just going to wait until I can use a campus computer instead.
I should probably be using the free time right now to revise for my exams.....
Instead my mind is running away with the fairies on story lines. Not any of my serious story lines, mind you, just the silly fan fiction ones that make me sound crazy the moment I start describing them.
One day, when I have the time and motivation, I will actually try to draw these comic ideas, and people will finally understand why I like them so much. And people will be genuinely surprised by how good they are....
* sort of like caricatures but without senselessly emphasising the features of their face they're probably most sensitive about. A portrait of the person - just as they are, each unique and beautiful - as their character of choice (eg. Luke Skywalker
, Elf archer ) with as much freedom of choice as I can give them (eg. lightsaber colour, spidey-pose, natural hair colour or elven silver) I came up with the idea and name myself, though I doubt either of them are very original, yet people were amazed by it.
I was lots of fun and the kids loved it and the parents kept telling me I should have been charging
